I have had a lot of questions about the availability of the content from this element we created for last Christmas. I should have you all an answer the first of next week.
What have you got planned for this Christmas? Trans Siberian in Service from Pace Hartfield on Vimeo.

Any word on whether or not you'll be making this video element available this year for purchase or download?
Thanks!

We are planning Jim and Jim 2---for more info you can go to www.jimandjim.com I know it seems kind of different...but, this is our culture out here in Wise county and the people go crazy anytime we do the Jim and Jim show. So this is us being culturally relevant. It's really pretty hilarious. Last year, the first Jim and Jim we had 55 people saved! Jim and Jim opened the doors to many rock crushers-truck drivers-oil field workers etc to come to church who wouldn't typically go. It's an all original play with original musical numbers set in a town with people who really don't know much about Jesus but through the play find out about who He is while they're trying to save the Christmas on the Square celebration.

In our church we do a special Christmas Event. We hired a top ten musician from Switzerland to be a part of the Christmas Event. It will be a mixture concert / drama / message. At the same time we launch our Lovewins social capital. We wanna make a difference in our area. Our goal is that people can experience christmas at its full and also raise money for our Lovewins social capital.
We are really pumped about that. I'm looking forward to that 3 days event!

Our December series is called 'The Characters of Christmas.' Dealing with Mary and Joseph, shepherds and wisemen, Santa Clause, the Baby Jesus and us (not in that order). Our Christmas eve service will be kind of a 'live movie.' Every element of the service (song, drama, monologue, clips from old Christmas movies, etc) will tell a piece of the story that we are communicating, with a big culmination at the end and a push for people to take their next step with Christ. Should be fun!

Series is called Simple Christmas. The economy set us up for this one. Everyone's cutting back, so we said, let's emphasize that while following through on that, "remember the reason for the season" thing. We decided that we've made Christmas too complicated and in the process made Jesus to simple. So we're flipping that, making less of Christmas and more about the depth, complexity, beauty and glory of Jesus. We're doing this by diving in to John 1.1-14. The intro videos are little kids reading parts of the passage. If all comes through, it should be a pretty sweet series.
