Leading Worship When You Don't "Feel Like It"

I talk to Worship Leaders on occasion when they have had a hard week or a bad day and then face the responsibility to lead others in worship.  Worship Leader, has this ever happened to you?  What did you do?

If you are not a Worship Leader, what would you say to a Worship Leader who doesn't "feel like" leading.

Closer To The Start

A mole digging in a hole...

This stupid mole has been digging up my entire yard!  It's amazing something this small can do so much damage.  For the last two weeks my dogs have been relentlessly excavating my yard trying to catch this little guy.  Victory at last.  Way to go Shadow!

Celebration

I love a celebration!  Fists raised to the air.  Grown men crying out of absolute joy.  A crowd so excited their cheers are almost deafening. A dog pile on the pitchers mound. Fireworks exploding.

Church, can we celebrate like this?  Ok, maybe without the dog pile.

Inside the Confession

This weekend we are beginning a brand new series called, "Leaving Lust Vegas."  One of the elements we planned in our brainstorming session was to video a guy confessing his struggle with lust.  In the video the man will have a black band across his face concealing his identity.  In the shoot we plan to capture his story of how lust has impacted his life.  We will show the first half before the message.

Following the message we will begin the confession segment again with the black band across the guys face, but as he tells his story we will remove the black band revealing his identity.  There is a lot of symbolism in the mask being removed. 

I plan on doing my best to capture glimpses of this project in progress.  As of today, all we have is a concept.  The weekend is coming so it's time to do work.  Check beck for update.

C3 2009

Catching Up...

I got in from the Father-Son Retreat yesterday around 4pm.  Caiden and I had a blast.  I have had a day of catch up from missing a weekend and will be posting again later tonight.

My kids have discovered TiVo.
