take extra time in rehearsal to humble ourselves and get under the anointing of God.
spend hours brainstorming for our Weekend Services.
challenge our team to trust God with their name and their advance.
hold our Praise Team accountable to a live lives above reproach so that what they singing matches what they are living.
pour into our Worship Leaders so that they are refreshed and ready to lead our church.
support my Pastor in prayer.
have more than "leftovers" for my family when I get home.
start planning our Christmas Services.
invest into our band members and learn about the things they love.
fight to keep 5 Campuses, 1 Church.
carve out time to stay fresh creatively.
But we cant build the Church and see God's Kingdom come doing what's "easier." I am full on and full in. How about you Church?

Hey Pace .. thank you for the blogs you do .. and thank you for being a great leader in putting together all the worship services .. I miss serving the Media Team but taking a step back to try and see what God has in store for me at MD Anderson to heal these tumors I have (you can ask Kimberly N about it) .. have always wanted to take time during the services either before or after to thank you for being an amazing leader for all parts of the teams that helps put together the service - camera/lighting/back stage crew .. see you around FC soon

Pace,
Thanks for this man...and thanks for using the word "fight" - it shows how passionate you are about the local church. Inspiring stuff bro.

Love the blog bro. I can relate.
Thanks for blazing the trail in Texas and Miami. Thanks for not becoming stagnant and thanks for making God's house an exciting and safe place to come and worship our Great God.

Hey Mr. Hartfield,
Just came across your blog while searching (in vain) for anyone who may have posted a video clip from c3.
Thank you so much for sharing your world with us! I have not viewed everything yet, but I love what I have seen so far.
C3 was a huge inspiration for us at Crossroads Fellowship in Odessa, Tx. We have incorporated elements in many different services.
I would L.O.V.E. to see the U2 - Until The End Of The World piece again. My photographic memory is out of film and I know what I saw was amazing. Is there any way...
Thanks again to everyone there for your creative genius - I still don't understand how you get it done in 10 days - we have to work at least a month in advance!

Pace, I completely agree. I am right there with you. This post really resonated with me. BTW, I have the weekend off from Keystone and visited FC Grapevine. Your team was SUPER kind and welcoming. I visited my good friend Kyle Goyer. He works with Daniel in the Lighting Dept. Daniel and Travis (Video) were especially gracious. The service was refreshing for me too! Moses is such an authentic WL. Thanks for the blog. It's encouraging.
